Hurricane IDA hit Louisiana as a strong Category 4 storm with wind gusts up to 150 miles per hour. The impacts to Woodlands Trail are immediately obvious. The progress of restoring the forest to a closed canopy has been erased but this isn’t our first rodeo, we’ve been knocked down before and will rise again. Our long-range goal is to obtain equipment that will allow us to more quickly clean-up after storms and do routine maintenance.
